There are many ways to help us!
We rely on your support and there are several ways you can help. Donate Money: If you would like to make a monetary contribution, either online or my mail, please click here. The Waltham Community Day Center is a registered charity in the state of Massachusetts, and has tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. Most of our donations come from individuals, and we sincerely appreciate all contributions of any size. Donate Goods: We also accept donations of goods. For more information click here. Volunteer your time: We welcome people who would like to volunteer at the center. We always need help doing all the things we do. For information on volunteering, click here. Host An Event: You can have fun and help the center at the same time. Here are some ideas: Turn a get-together into a house party fundraiser. Have hors d'ouvres and coffee/tea and have your friends donate to the Day Center. Ask your group to cook together to make a warm meal for our guests. Bring your friends and family to view a “Homelessness From Our Eyes ”: A Photography Exhibit by the Day Center Guests, Nov. 6th through December 31st. Invite the Day Center to talk with your group about how to help homeless people. No matter how you choose to help... Thank You!

Eat at the Elephant Walk Restaurant in January and Benefit the Day Center!

During the month of January, dine at The Elephant Walk Restaurant in Waltham and 3%of your bill will be donated to the Community Day Center as part of the Benefit Restaurant Program.

Now Open Mornings for the Winter

Our morning program is now operating, extending our hours to include mornings from 7:30AM to 9:00AM, weekdays until April 6, 2012. This will be in addition to our regular hours of 1:30PM to 4:30PM weekdays, including most holidays.
